At an organizational meeting, Monday, the task force decided to form two subcommittees.  One will research day care facilities and staffing requirements.  The other will survey Falls Church City families to determine day care needs and research additional community program options, such as those offered by the city’s recreation and parks department.

The task force will meet on September 26, October 10 and October 24, November 7, November 28, December 5 and December 12.  All meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. in the Falls Church City Public Schools’ Central Office conference room located on the 3rd floor of 803 West Broad Street, Falls Church.  All task force meetings are open to the public and will be advertised on the school division Web site, www.fccps.org.
