Overall record: 0-4

Friday December 17: lost 9-3 to North Stafford/ Colonial Forge

Summary: Some players may call senior goalie Eddy Marshall a lifesaver. Thanks to him, the Oakton/George Mason team was saved from what could have been a second defeat by mercy rule. He was solid in net even when the North Stafford/Colonial Forge had breakaways in the double digits. He gave up nine goals on over 30 shots on net.

Eddy was not the only George Mason player to have a good night. Hunter Olson, freshman, had two goals and an assist. His assist went to his brother Hans Olson, junior, who had a goal.

Connor Rhodes, freshman, played well at center but had many good defensive plays. Adam Fendley, freshman, had another strong performance on defense and had a couple key takeaways when he was outnumbered. Jack Stricker, freshman, also played strong with a breakaway and a couple of turnovers by the defense. Overall the Oakton/George Mason team was not able to generate enough offense to win the game.
