The sophomores made quick work of the eighth graders in the championship pindodge game on Thursday. Despite knocking out the freshman on Tuesday, the GR8s had their hands full against the favored sophomores.
After an impressive win against the freshman class, the GR8s struggled against the sophomores, failing to knock over a single pin. Early into the match, the GR8s were already in a hole with a decent amount of their players eliminated.
Regardless of dominating the match, the sophomores were unable to strike any of the GR8's pins. The first GR8 causality was actually caused by a player clumsily stumbling into his own pin. A few minutes later, the GR8s continued to lose players, and as a result, another pin.
With only one pin and a handful of players left, the GR8's chance of winning looked slim-- midnight struck on the their Cinderella story. The sophomores successfully took advantage of the GR8's lack in numbers by striking the final pin to end the match.
The sophomores continue to climb the standing in spirit week leveling out in second, behind only the seniors.
