School Board Service: 2006 - Present. Previously served as Vice Chairman 2008-2009. Professional Employees Advisory Committee, Career and Technical Education Sub Committee of the BIE Partnership Council

Professional Background: Vice President of Marketing, Voxant, University of Virginia, B. A. Russian Studies, Pace University, M.B.A. in Strategic Management. Previous service includes Vice Chairman - Citizens Advisory Committee for Aurora House, Chairman - City of Falls Church Women's Commission, volunteer with ChildHelp.

Reason for becoming a school board member: "My passion is making sure that every child gets a fair shot in life. A top notch education is the starting point. My goal as a member of the School Board is to insure that every child in our city schools gets an outstanding education, and that our district is not just excellent, but a model for other school districts."
